    Amounts distributed from the endowment pursuant to Concordia University policy shall be used to provide scholarships based on financial need to students who are enrolled at Concordia and pursuing professional church careers within the LCMS.

    During his lifetime, or until otherwise directed, the Donor intends to continue funding the annual scholarship and desires that all earnings for the fund be reinvested in accordance with investment policies determined by the Board of Regents. When the annual scholarship funding ends, the endowment will be used to provide scholarships based on financial need to students who have declared a major in the music or fine arts (performing and visual), and who have completed at least two years of their undergraduate studies. The donor prefers that the award be given to one recipient rather than dispersed among several.
