    The income is to be used for aid to students who are preferably over twenty-five years of age and returning to college to begin a second career, and who are forgiving and demonstrate a willingness and desire to speak the Gospel of Jesus Christ to humankind. Income is to be reinvested in the principal if the scholarship is not awarded.

    Concordia St. Paul, at its discretion, will award scholarship funds according to the university’s approved spending policy to students enrolled at CSP who are pursuing a degree in a church work program. Preference will be given to students who are pursuing a degree as a Director of Christian Outreach.

    Seventy-five percent of the income is to be used for scholarships for church work students demonstrating financial need. The remaining twenty-five percent of the fund shall be added to the principal annually. The net income from the fund shall be distributed for need or no-need students, male or female, accepted into a church work program leading to full-time professional ministry.

    80% of the annual income from the Fund will be awarded as scholarships to University student having demonstrated financial need, and enrolled in programs leading to full-time professional church work. 20% of the annual income from the Fund will be added to the principal to ensure the ongoing growth of the Fund.

    The University, at its discretion, will award funds according to the university’s approved spending policy to students enrolled at the university. Amounts distributed from the endowment pursuant to Concordia University policy shall be used to provide scholarships based on financial need to students who are enrolled at Concordia with preference given to students in the Director of Christian Educations program who plan on entering the ministry upon graduation. Any of the unused earning will be reinvested in accordance with investment policies determined by the Board of Regents, from time to time.

    The income is to be used for scholarships for full-time Director of Parish Music majors who are in good standing, have good moral character/integrity, and who participate in an approved ensemble for the DPM program at the university. Excess income is to be returned to the principal.
