    Class of 1989

    Lisa Young, ’89 is an artist. Her acrylic painting, Agate Bay Sunset On the Rocks, was accepted into the 2026 Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Competition and was on display throughout the fair.

    Class of 2013

    Mark Langton, B.A. ’13 completed his studies at Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne, and graduated with a Master of Divinity. He accepted a call to Christ Lutheran Church, Elbow Lake, Minn. and Zion Lutheran Church, Hoffman, Minn. where he was ordained and installed on July 12, 2026.

    Class of 1985

    Pam Haltom Draayer, B.A. ’85, Christine (Wallman) Dano, B.A. ’85, and Nancy (Froehner) Bernath, ’85 and their husbands spent a week vacationing together in Orange Beach, Alabama. Pam, Christine, and Nancy met as incoming freshmen living on Luther First South in 1980.

    Elliott Arvey, B.A. ’26 was installed as a Director of Christian Education at Walcamp Outdoor Ministries and Retreat Center on September 27, 2026.

    Class of 2026

    Olga Martinez Chavez, M.A. ’26, was promoted to Site Manager at a non-profit early childhood education organization while earning her degree at CSP. She is now exploring early interventionist opportunities in the California Bay Area.

    Eugene Kolander, J.C. ’54, works part-time at Goodyear Ballpark (Spring Baseball for Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians) and volunteers at PebbleCreek Renaissance Theater.

    Adam Shaw, MFA ’20 is the current program chair of CSP’s MFA program. His third book, Cozy, is being released by Cowboy Jamboree Press in November 2026.
