Sandhya Rani Duggireddy, M.S. ’24 and Raj Tatipamula, M.S. ’23 were recently married and value the lasting friendships and experiences from their shared alma mater.
Arthur and Constance Spomer

Class of 1958

Arthur, H.S. ’56, J.C. ’58 and Constance (Rawerts), J.C. ’58 Spomer have two great-grandchildren with a third on the way. Their grandsons are pursuing higher education at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, the University of Oklahoma School of Business, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
Lori Stengel

Class of 2001

Lori (Leonard) Stengel, B.A. ’01 recently stepped away from the classroom following a severe concussion and is navigating disability and workers’ compensation. She now spends her days at home in Kansas City with her husband, who works for Southwest Airlines, and their two chihuahuas, Sheldon and Luther.

Class of 1977

Paul, B.A. ’77 and Betsy Hanson will celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary on October 2, 2026, and continue playing music for services at Emmaus Lutheran Church.

Audrey Duensing-Werner, B.A. ’93 serves as Director of the Family Life Department at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Houston, Tex.
Ray Geweke

Class of 1960

Ray Geweke, J.C. ’60 met his late wife, Geneva (DeGroat), J.C. 60 at Concordia, St. Paul, and they shared nearly 62 years of marriage. He went on to teach for nearly four decades, and is blessed with three children, ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Class of 1961 | 1962 & 2000

Bob, J.C. ’61 and Alice (Kratt), J.C.’ 62, M.A. ’00 Smith will celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary on August 7, 2026. They have two married sons, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Molly Smith

Class of 2021

Molly Smith, B.A. ’21 welcomed her daughter, Maggie, in 2023 after years of infertility and now enjoys life with her energetic toddler. She has been teaching for six years and credits her Concordia University, St. Paul degree with helping her advance her career and better support her family.
Charles Lopez Jr

Class of 1968

Charles Lopez Jr., A.A. ’68 is a published author and hospice chaplain whose work focuses on spiritual care and grief. He authored Spiritual Care Reflections from a Hospice Chaplain (2015) and has a forthcoming sequel, along with multiple articles in theological journals and several devotional books slated for publication in the coming years.
Jean Vogel

Class of 1983

Jean (Snelling) Vogel, B.A. ’83 recently welcomed her third grandchild, Hendrix Everett, who joins siblings Jordyn (10) and Nathaniel (2½). She will retire on October 2, 2026, and looks forward to traveling with her husband and spending time with family, including celebrating her son Andrew’s engagement to Kaitlyn.
Amy Dietzinger

Class of 2010

Amy (Bjornson) Dietzinger, B.A. ’10 was united in marriage with Robert on October 7, 2025. They were married at University Lutheran Chapel (LCMS), on the U of M Minneapolis campus. Renee Miller

Class of 1969

Renee (Lamb) Miller, B.A. ’69 is retired from teaching elementary school and serving as a reading recovery teacher, and remains active in her church community. She serves as an organist, LWML secretary and historian, and volunteers with Wednesday school, finding joy in mentoring children and continuing to grow in her faith.
