Hunter Vang, a freshman at Concordia University, St. Paul, is pursuing his passion for sharing Jesus through CSP’s renowned Pre-Seminary program. As a Hmong American with a love for sports and weightlifting, Hunter’s journey at CSP is as much about personal growth as it is about preparing for his future ministry.
Hunter chose CSP for its exceptional Pre-Seminary program and welcoming campus environment. “I thought this campus would really suit me,” he explains, and his experience has exceeded expectations. After feeling disconnected in high school, Hunter has found an unparalleled sense of community at CSP. “The interconnectedness I’ve experienced here is unmatched,” he shares.
Hunter’s time at CSP has also provided moments of meaningful connection and growth. One standout experience for him was engaging in a deep theological conversation with someone who held opposing views. “We left disagreeing but became friends,” he recalls, highlighting the respect and openness that defines CSP’s campus culture.
Hunter’s aspirations following his degree from CSP are clear—he hopes to pursue seminary and become a pastor. With a strong foundation in faith and a supportive community behind him, he’s well on his way to achieving this goal.
Hunter is also deeply grateful for the institutional aid provided by CSP’s donors.
“Thank you very much. Without you sacrificing your time, money, or any other resources, I would not be able to have this amazing opportunity. Thank you again for making this possible for me to pursue what I love!”
With CSP’s support and a passion for ministry, Hunter is ready to make a lasting impact in the lives of others.
