The income is to be used for scholarships for ministerial graduate students who are attending one of the LCMS seminaries. It is requested, but not required, that the distribution be in the following priority: 1) Graduate student descendants of Ruth Bertha Kath and Herbert Albert Kath, 2) Graduate student members of St. Stephanus Lutheran Church of St. Paul, MN, 3) Graduate student members of LCMS congregations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area, 4) Graduate student members of LCMS congregations in the state of MN, 5) Graduate student members of any Lutheran church.
