The income is to be used for scholarships for students preferably enrolled in a church teacher education program leading to full-time professional ministry in the LCMS.

The income is to be used to aid male students with financial need, who have demonstrated a sincere effort to succeed academically. Should no student meet the criteria for the Alvina Haack Ministerial Scholarship in a given academic year, the interest will revert to the principal.
