During the 2023-24 academic year, Concordia University, St. Paul served a record 7,301 unique students. This continued growth further bolsters CSP’s position as the second-largest private university in Minnesota and the second-largest Lutheran university nationwide.
“Students are choosing CSP and CSP Global to further their education because of our responsive, relevant, and real degree offerings,” says Provost and Chief Operating Officer Eric LaMott. “We continue to see growth despite challenging times for higher education because of our high-quality and high-value academic programs.”
Of this record number of students, nearly 5,400 were enrolled in one of CSP Global’s offerings. This includes approximately 2,100 undergraduates, 2,600 master’s students, and 700 doctoral and educational specialist students.
Within the traditional CSP division, the university served approximately 1,900 students. More than 1,400 were degree-seeking students, just under 400 students took classes through Minnesota’s Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program, and the remaining students were classified as visiting students.
The 2024-25 academic year begins September 3. Enrollment projections for the fall semester show continued growth, with the official student census to be confirmed later in September.
