As we cap off the 2025-26 academic year with meaningful commencement programs in St. Paul, Denver, and Portland, we celebrate a year that featured continued strong enrollment (including some new records), expanded degree programs, and several extraordinary milestones. Because of our amazing students, faculty, and staff, we are well-positioned for continued strength in 2026 and beyond.
Enrollment Strength
While many private and public universities are struggling, CSP and CSP Global continue to draw a vibrant, dynamic, and diverse student body. Enrollment for Fall and Spring terms was the third-largest in school history, with new records set for traditional undergraduate students and CSP Global undergraduate students. We also had several other points of note:
- A new record of 527 first-generation students enrolled in undergraduate programs
- Strong increases in our nursing programs across St. Paul, Denver, and Portland campuses
- 28% increase in doctoral student enrollment
- An expanded set of master’s degree and MBA offerings
New Three-Year Undergraduate Offerings
One of the year’s most notable achievements was the launch of Minnesota’s first 90-credit, three-year bachelor’s degree at a private institution. What began with a single program in Exercise Science quickly expanded to nine fully accredited degree options spanning business-related programs, psychology, sport management, and criminal justice. Each program retains the same major coursework and general education standards as its 120-credit counterpart, giving students a focused path to enter the workforce sooner and with less debt.
Expanded Nursing Program
The university’s nursing programs saw important expansion this year. The CSP Global Denver campus, which became part of the Concordia University system in late 2024, launched an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) track and just announced a new on-ground BSN traditional track, which is set to welcome its first cohort in September 2027. Combined with sustained strength at the Portland and St. Paul campuses, CSP’s nursing enrollment continues to grow to help communities deal with nursing shortages.
New Technology & Expanded Student Support
The university also adopted a comprehensive AI framework to guide how artificial intelligence is integrated into teaching, learning, and professional practice, reinforcing the commitment to graduating career-ready professionals prepared for the evolving workplace. At the same time, the university is launching and expanding a career portfolio offering to help students across multiple areas of study have job interview-ready portfolios and presentation skills. These are great examples of the career-ready focus that CSP and CSP Global bring to students.
Looking ahead, the university will welcome our inaugural Physician Assistant cohort in the coming academic year, among many other exciting things that are in the works.
