Concordia St. Paul was honored to take part in the 2025 LEA (Lutheran Education Association) Convocation in St. Louis, where nearly 3,000 Lutheran educators gathered for encouragement, professional growth, and fellowship. Among them were around 80 future educators from across the Synod who participated in the Grow a Teacher pre-convocation event. CSP students played a key role in leading this experience—helping their peers learn the ins and outs of attending a professional conference, connect with others preparing for Lutheran classrooms, and gain new skills and strategies for future ministry. CSP’s own Professor Mychal Thom served as keynote speaker, with Rev. Ryan Peterson as Worship Preacher and Host, setting a Christ-centered tone for the event.
During the convocation, attendees stopped by the Concordia St. Paul booth to pick up CSP swag, learn more about our programs, and—if they were alumni—receive a special gift. Together with our Concordia sister schools, CSP also co-sponsored the “Meet Me in St. Louis” evening gathering, which provided attendees with opportunities to enjoy food, fellowship, interactive games, and conversation.
