  • Douglas Martin

    Douglas Martin, BA ’94 passed away.

  • Richard Wagenknecht

    Richard, HS ‘60, JC ‘64 and Kathleen Wagenknecht celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 22, 2020.

  • Dustin Kalis

    Dustin Kalis, BA ‘04 was hired as Fire Chief of the Lake Elmo Fire Department in September 2020. Previously with the North St. Paul and Vadnais Heights Fire Departments, he now leads a department tasked with protecting a growing community that is expected to double over the next 20 years.

  • Dorothy Piatti (Edwards)

    Dorothy Piatti, MA ’10 passed away on October 9, 2020.

  • Gloria Grohn (Kuehn)

    Gloria (Kuehn) Grohn, ‘63 has four children, three daughters and a son who passed away two years ago.

  • Debora Stark (Willing)

    Debora (Willing) Stark, CERT ‘08 has a son, Noah, who graduated from Michigan Tech with honors and has a full time job as a mechanical /automation engineer in Reed City, Mich.

  • Jeremy Koosman

    Jeremy, BA ‘02, and Maria Koosman and family were blessed with prayers answered as they welcomed John Joseph to their family this past summer.

  • Marilyn Parsons

    Marilyn Parsons, BA ’20 is working at Camp Avery Park Camp, Troy, Mo. as a youth specialist. Marilyn is also pursuing an MA in counseling from Concordia University Irvine.

  • Carol Garvey (Von Hagel)

    Carol (Von Hagel) Garvey, BA ’83 worked as a registered nurse for 37 years. The last 23 years she served as Director of Student Health at a private university in NW Iowa. Carol retired in January 2020.

  • Richard Koehler

    Richard Koehler, HS ’58, JC ’60 passed away on October 7, 2020.

  • James McDaniels

    Rev. James McDaniels, BA ’72, was honored with the Christus in Mundo (Christ in the World) award in November 2019 by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). This award recognizes his contributions to LCMS Specialized Pastoral Ministry (SPM) as both chaplain and pastor. Pastor McDaniels will also be receiving a Doctor of Letters from Concordia St.…

  • Drew Sannes

    Drew Sannes, MA ’19, was hired as the head baseball coach at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC), Mason City, Iowa.
