Domonique Gilmer, B.A. ’12 was named to Black Leaders Worldwide’s 2025 Men to Watch list, honoring his impactful leadership in education, community development, and economic empowerment. A dedicated educator, entrepreneur, and doctoral candidate, Domonique is transforming lives through resilience, leadership, and a deep commitment to generational change.

Amanda Johnson, B.A. ’08, M.A. ’14 won NSIC Coach of the Year. She has led the Golden Bears to a program-best 26-2 regular season record and the NSIC Regular Season Championship.

Ashley Farrington, M.Ed. ’15, Ed.S ’17, is one of three Minnesota National Distinguished Principal Award finalists. One principal is chosen annually from each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Peers in their home states nominates public school principals.

Geoffrey Bray, B.A. ’06 was named 2025 Broker of the Year by Minneapolis Area Realtors (MAR). This prestigious award honors a Broker member who exemplifies strong leadership, shares exceptional knowledge and experience, and serves as a champion for their brokerage, community, and the Association.

Dan Kuball, B.A. ’92 was recently recognized as the Minnesota South LCMS Outstanding Elementary Educator of 2024.

Adriene Thonton, M.A. ’12, health equity manager at Children’s Minnesota, has been honored as a 2024 Women Leaders Rising Star by Modern Healthcare.

Jim Scriven, B.A. ’90 was selected by the board of directors of the Lutheran Education Association to receive its top honor, the Christus Magister Award. Since 1965, this most prestigious Lutheran Education Association award has been presented to Lutheran educators who have made significant contributions to Lutheran education.

Traci Morris, MBA ’21 of Essentia Health has been recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as a 2023 Chief Financial Officer of the Year honoree.
