Liam Boris

Liam Boris, B.A. ’22 is grateful for his faculty advisor, Professor Renata, who recognized his interest in the human side of business and service. With this in mind, Professor Renata suggested and approved his enrollment in MAN 420, Managing Volunteers and Fundraising, with Professor Christa Getchell. It was in this course that he fell in love with the unique discipline of Volunteer Management within the nonprofit sector and discovered his true vocation. After spending two years in Pittsburgh in Volunteer Program Coordinator roles at Antiochian Village Camp and Bible Center Church/Orthodox Volunteer Corps, he returned home to Minneapolis-St. Paul and began his third Volunteer Program Manager role at PRISM-Minneapolis—a basic-needs, faith-supported nonprofit in Golden Valley that serves 120 to 150+ families daily with food, housing, and clothing assistance regardless of zip code or income status. He finds great joy in collaborating with volunteer staff in shared service and is deeply grateful to have discovered and nurtured this vocation during his time at CSP.
