James Vehling, H.S. ’58, J.C. ’60 will be celebrated by the congregation of St. John Woodbury on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of his ordination. Following his ordination on August 7, 1966, Pastor Vehling served as a missionary to Japan (1966-1979, 1986-1993), as pastor of St. Stephanus Lutheran Church, St. Paul (1979-1986), and as pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Hollywood, Florida (1993-2003).
