Carole Ann James, M.A. ’25 was recently hired as a Reading Interventionist at her district’s middle school. She shares, “I’m thrilled for the opportunity to apply my newly earned Master’s degree in Literacy. Although this role wasn’t what I originally envisioned when I began my graduate studies, the program reignited my passion for learning and deepened my understanding of reading instruction. As my knowledge grew, so did my desire to support not only students but also my colleagues. This position truly feels like a dream come true—it allows me to stay connected to the classroom through targeted reading interventions while also contributing to the professional growth of fellow educators in the area of literacy.”
