<< BackRetired Professor Karl Rutz Dies
Retired Concordia professor Karl Rutz passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, Jan. 31. He was 78. Our prayers are with his wife, Lillie, their children and families. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 4 -8 p.m., at the Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (651-487-2550) at County Road B and Dale Street in Roseville. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., at King of Kings Lutheran Church at 2330 N. Dale St. (Hwy. 36 and Dale Street) on Wednesday, Feb. 4, with the reviewal in the preceding hour and lunch following the service.
Prof. Rutz was preceded in death by parents, Emil & Bertha; brother, Robert. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lillie; children, Karen (Virgil) Gramenz, John (Linda), Pam (Tom) Gross; grandchildren, Rebecca, Bryan, Eric, Adam, Sarah, Joshua & Stefan; brother, Martin (Dorothy); sister, Dorothy.
